Ohio Elite Baseball was founded in 2008 and since then, over 550 players have gone onto play college baseball, across all levels (JUCO, NAIA, D1,2,3), earning millions of dollars in scholarship money.  Our coaches all work extremely hard to establish and maintain relationships with college coaches. 

Our teams train and practice together during the off-season and regular season.  We place emphasis on the right things - learning how to become a good teammate and playing the game the right way - developing a high baseball IQ so that when you get to the next level (high school or college) you are ready to make an impact! 

The Ohio Elite Baseball organization seeks players and families who are committed to teamwork, personal development, and competitive travel baseball. Our teams look for talented players and parents who place an importance on character, faith, and family values. The Ohio Elite Organization wants players that have the desire to compete with the best against the best.

We will be conducting tryouts for qualified candidates for the 2024 season towards the end of the summer.  Dates and times will start being posted after the July 4th holiday weekend. 

The organization is managed by President Kelly Ratcliff, Vice President Rob McNerney and Special Advisor Chris Kaczmar.

The club is always looking to identify highly qualified candidates for all age groups that are Elite baseball players that are coachable, confident, hard working, and love to have fun learning and playing baseball that come from value-based, outgoing, kind, enthusiastic and supportive families.

Candidates must pre-register for tryouts.  Private tryouts may be available if the below listed dates do not work for qualified candidates.  Contact Rob McNerney or Kelly Ratcliff to request  a private date.  Please include all pertinent player information, links to video and references. 

The Ohio Elite Baseball organization is based upon a shared philosophy of our founder Kelly Ratcliff and our players, coaches, and parents. First, we will focus on player development and showcasing their skills and talents to college coaches and professional scouts. Second, and more importantly, we will help the boys mature into responsible young men and teach life lessons through the game of baseball.

Ohio Elite teams and players are expected to conduct themselves in a first-class manner, both on and off of the field. Our organization will continually stress good character, sportsmanship and the importance of respecting the game. The Ohio Elite Baseball organization wants players that have the desire to compete with the best against the best.

Once registration is available you will notice that there are 5 different locations for you to choose from, depending on where you live:

Ohio Elite WEST (serving western Ohio)

Ohio Elite NORTH (serving Cleveland/Akron)

Ohio Elite EAST (serving Youngstown)

Ohio Elite CENTRAL (serving Columbus)

Ohio Elite SOUTH (serving Cincinnati, Dayton)

Please be sure you select the correct one.

Please also be aware, the age group you are looking for, may not have a team in your area.  For example, you are from Toledo, and are 15 years old, our WEST operations may not have that age group, so be sure you select NORTH, CENTRAL, etc. based on your desires.

ALL teams play in high level events and travel throughout the region.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled time.  Players should wear baseball clothing, have the proper safety equipment and have their own glove, bat, etc.
