Pitcher of the Week: Dalton Stambaugh, Morehead St.

On March 30, Stambuagh's strong effort on the mound carried Morehead State to a 10-2 victory over in-state rival Eastern Kentucky. In eight innings of work, Stambaugh allowed two runs off eight hits, striking out three batters without issuing a walk, improving to 4-2 on the season. 

Player of the Week: Greg Lewandowski.

Over a four-game homestand March 20-25, Lewandowski led Kent State's attack at the plate, going 7-for-17 with two doubles and two RBI. The freshman infielder from Port Orange, Fla., holds a .308 average through his first season in the Blue and Gold.
