The win improved the second-year, right-handed pitcher's record to 4-1 on the season. Committed to the University of Arizona in 52 innings, Vanelle has 42 strikeouts on the year and a 2.42 ERA.

Player of the Week: Brandon Henson, Sinclair 

In four games last week, Henson recorded six hits in 16 at-bats, helping Sinclair to a perfect 4-0 week. With a double and a triple, Henson, a product of Pickerington High School Central, scored five runs and drove in three Titans. For the season, the sophomore outfielder, who is committed to Virginia Commonwealth, holds a .350 average, with three home runs and five stolen bases in 15 games.
