Player: Mason Mamarella- Kent State.
Kent State traveled to Tennessee over the second weekend of the college baseball season, playing three different opponents over three games. As the Golden Flashes captured wins against Belmont, Lipscomb, and Middle Tennessee, neither the Bruins, Bisons, nor Lightning could slow Mamarella. The Kent State senior outfielder went 5-for-10 with three walks over the weekend, driving in eight runs, crossing home five times and stolen two bases.
Pitcher: Brad Croy- Bowling Green
Croy shined in Bowling Green's 9-7 victory at Southeast Missouri State on Friday, helping the Falcons to a weekend split. Against the Redhawks, Croy recorded a three-inning save, allowing just an unearned run and two hits, striking out five batters against one walk. Serving as the team's DH, Croy anchored the heart of the BGSU lineup, going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and four RBI.
