Four OEB players selected to East Coast Pro in Syracuse, NY

The purpose of the East Coast Professional Showcase is to provide a venue for the premier youth baseball players across the Eastern United States to compete in a professional environment and allow evaluation opportunities for scouts from every Major League organization.

The event was created and designed to evaluate and educate prospective players and parents to attain their goal for an opportunity to play professional baseball. The East Coast Pro Showcase is a non-profit event run by MLB scouts. Proceeds are placed in a fund to aid MLB Scouts, active and retired, in need of financial assistance due to unfortunate circumstances.

Participating teams in the East Coast Pro Showcase are designated by region. The Midwest team will compete as the Chicago Cubs and will include players from Canada, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Tennessee.

The Ohio Elite organization boast four of the six players from Ohio on the East Coast Pro Midwest Roster:

Adam Wolf, LHP, Edison, 2015

Cam Comer, UTL, Olentangy Liberty/Virginia, 2015

Chander Day, RHP, Watkins Memorial/Vanderbilt, 2015

Sam Bordner, RHP, Bloom Carroll/Louisville, 2015
