Two more #OEB alums to the MLB!

Ohio Elite Baseball has been very fortunate to have some tremendous student athletes come through the organization since its inception in 2008.  Over that time, the club has had a total of 29 players drafted into Major League Baseball.

This year was  a special year as it marked the first draft in which players who came through OEB North heard their name called.

Dillon Dingler and Kyle Nicolas have been best friends since they were very young.  They were high school teammates and won Ohio state championships in baseball and basketball at Jackson High School in Massillon, OH.  They were also teammates under Coach Rob McNerney's Ohio Elite teams in 2015 and 2016.

Dillon was selected with the 38th pick by the Detroit Tigers.  Kyle was selected with the 61st pick by the Miami Marlins.

Both young men epitomize what it means to be a student-athlete. Humble, hard working and absolute competitors.  Multi-sport athletes their entire lives, they also placed a priority on their academics.  They are a role model for so many young players and we could not be more proud.

We wish them the very best of luck and look forward to following their progress as they continue to work hard towards their dreams!
